(01) James W. HADLEY:

Buried: Hartland Village Cemetery, Hartland, Windsor, Vermont

Notes:

Misc. Notes: James W. Hadley, son of Wells G. Hadley

- James Hadley enlisted in the army during the Civil War on 1 June 1861.
He was mustered in on July 16, 1861.
He was in Company F, 3rd Regement of the Vermont Volunteers. He died
the following year of "camp fever" at a Georgetown, D.C. hospital.
His middle name was probably "Wells"

The year of his death is incorrect on his headstone. It should be 1862 and not 1861.
